Bob Rhodes is currently the principal technical architect for Thomson Reuters Special Services, LLC (TRSS). Mr. Rhodes’ role is to conceptualize software solutions and lead the development of platforms that address the needs of the law enforcement and intelligence community (LE/IC). He has a keen interest in Big Data, machine learning, encryption, and information retrieval technologies and how they can be applied to real world problems for the LE/IC. He provides thought leadership on a wide range of web, social media, security, and privacy topics. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, he was both a Business Technical Relationship manager and Senior Software engineer for the ChoicePoint Government Services division of ChoicePoint Inc. Mr. Rhodes transferred from a ChoicePoint division to work with ChoicePoint Government Services in 2004 as a Senior Software Engineer. He has worked closely with LE/IC clients to build a wide range of data applications to support them and their unique missions. Prior to this role, Mr. Rhodes served as a Webmaster, Software Engineer, and Tech Lead for KnowX, LLC from 1998 to 2004.
Mr. Rhodes earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Georgia Southern University and is an Oracle Certified Java Programmer and a MongoDB certified Database Administrator. He is based in Thomasville, GA and is married with two daughters.
